prostitution (passion ^ love)

She was  Maria, a  girl in her   young age from a rural village of Brazil, She worked in  nightclub in switzerland  as a samba dancer for a short time, but she realized that  was not what she wanted and at the same time she found that reality is  harder than she expected. After a heated argument  with her management of  the night club she left the place and looked for a career in modeling. But she failed and  unfortnatly she had to sell herself for 1000 francs for "one night" with an Arab man.

She  was happy with the easy money making method and there she , with  her "new profession" .She became a professional prostitute not with her body but also with her soul .Maria  could see in her client's eyes that they were afraid of their wives, the feeling of panic that they might not be able to get an erection, that they might not seem manly enough even to the ordinary prostitute whom they were paying for her services. When they had some female company, if they didn’t manage to get an erection, they would be too ashamed  to go back to the same club again because they would assume that all the other women there would know the situation. These men, so powerful and arrogant at work, constantly having to deal with employees, customers, secrets, posturings, hypocrisy, fear and oppression, ended their day in a nightclub and they didn’t mind spending three hundred and fifty Swiss francs to stop being themselves for a night.

Her world changed when she met Ralf a young swiss painter .He saw the "inner light" of maria . Maria fall in love with him  and began to experience what true love is .Maria was torn between her sexual fantasies and true love for Ralf. Suddenly she decided that it was the  time for her to leave Geneva with her memory of Ralf, because she realized that they were in different two worlds . But before leaving, she thought  to rekindle the dead sexual fire in Ralf and learnt from him about the nature of Sacred Sex, sex which is mingled with true love and which involved the giving up of one's soul for the loved one.

Well this is the summary of the book that did attract me a lot.

Now I would like to add a small part in to my note .

"I think we are afraid of each other when it comes to sex, because we read so much about sex, we talk so openly about sex, we see movies and we read books; but when we are face to face with someone else, we forget our individual patterns; that we are unique. So we try to repeat other people’s patterns, according to what we seen and what we heard. So most of us are very frustrated, because we don’t accept our individuality as far as sex is concerned.

Paulo Coelho......    "

This is something  for you to think  twice :D

Now again back to "Eleven minutes"  .

Here it describes two types of prostitution one for money and other one sacred prostitution.

But I wonder,  is there any prostitutes here for sacred prostitution like Maria did rather than the ones who are waiting to fulfill  sexual desires for money. Ehhh.....For me the art is there in the book it's  something beyond the reality  though !! ....
